Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada

Bow Lake & Bow Glacier.
We drove from Rocky Mountain House, Alberta, Canada, to High River, Alberta, Canada, and we went out into Banff National Park (and even up into the Columbia Icefields in Jasper National Park before driving completely through Banff. Columbia Icefields is a glacier in Jasper National Park which is also in Alberta bordering Banff). Banff was amazing, and the lakes, glaciers, and mountains were cool. The beautiful bright blue (or blueish green) color is caused by clay and silt that were caught by the glaciers and then eventually melted into the lake. The particles are lightweight and float up to the surface of the water.
