Ballantyne’s Cove is a community in Nova Scotia, named for one of its early settlers, David Ballantyne, who settled in the area around 1810.
Ballantyne’s Cove has a port that hosts a 40 slip marina (a principal trading point for Japanese merchants looking for sushi-grade tuna) and the Ballantyne’s Cove Tuna Interpretive Centre.
