Egyptian’s woman washes clothes on pollution Canal at the Nile Delta town of Al-Borollos, 300 kms north of Cairo in March 16, 2008, during the ‘UN World Water Day on 22 March’. Egypt’s faces pollution problems especially in villages in the Delta where people use the river water to clean clothes as well as to bathe. Water pollution is increasing in Egypt, with Nile water polluted by waste from agricultural fertilizers and factories.
